(1) Our emphasis is on UNREACHED (someone who does not have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ) AND UNENGAGED (there is no known church or Christian ministry reaching this group) (2) When a small group decides to come with us to Ghana, we do everything we can to work around YOUR SCHEDULE as to when it works best to go to Ghana.
Our regional emphasis is working with the Thru-Hikers on the Appalachian Trail
Our regional emphasis is working with the Thru-Hikers on the Appalachian Trail. They are hiking 2,197 miles over 5-6 months. We volunteer as "Trail Angels" on the trail to provide water, snacks, sugary beverages, and/or hot chocolate and coffee, as well as chairs to relax in. As we serve them and engage in informative and encouraging trail conversation, we look for opportunities to gently share the hope of Christ.
For those in the Atlanta, GA area
As the old saying goes, “Bloom where you are planted”. Many discipleship endeavors are the heartbeat of Nudge ministries locally. Nudge is involved in being a resource in many ways to churches & Christian Schools. In schools, Rich shares in classes and/or chapels. In churches, he not only presents the ministry in Ghana to congregations, leads in-person small groups as well as zoom groups, but can help with their missions committees as well as in their VBS. Rich does one on one discipleship appointments as well as phone conversations using the ESPN formula: Encouragement, Scriptures, Prayers, and Next Steps, which are based on what the person has as their goals for growth.
